The organization is undertaking a strategic ERP modernization initiative to migrate its existing SAP ECC landscape to SAP S/4HANA. To support this transformation, the organization seeks an experienced SAP Technical Developer with strong expertise in ABAP development for HCM, SAP Fiori, and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). The consultant will play a key role in assessing, remediating, redesigning, and developing custom SAP solutions to ensure compatibility with SAP S/4HANA and to enable the adoption of SAPs modern architecture, user experience, and cloud extension capabilities. ________________________________________ - Objective The objective of this assignment is to provide technical expertise and hands-on development support throughout the SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration project, including custom code remediation, Fiori application development, SAP BTP extensions, integrations, testing, and post-go-live support. ________________________________________ - Scope of Work The SAP S/4HANA Technical Developer will perform the following activities: A. Support SAP ECC to S/4HANA Technical Migration of HCM modules including Payroll, Perks, Time Management, Personnel Administration and ESS/MSS - Conduct technical analysis of existing SAP ECC custom developments and identify impacts related to SAP S/4HANA conversion. - Review and remediate custom code using SAP S/4HANA readiness and simplification assessment tools. - Analyze and adapt: o Z-programs o Reports o Interfaces o Enhancements o User exits o BAdIs o Forms o Batch jobs o Workflows - Support system conversion, testing, and cutover activities. - Resolve technical issues identified during migration and testing phases. - Collaborate with functional teams to assess and address business process impacts resulting from the migration. B. ABAP Development and Modernization - Develop, enhance, and optimize HCM ABAP applications using SAP S/4HANA development standards. - Refactor legacy ECC custom developments for HANA-optimized performance. - Design and develop: o Object-Oriented ABAP solutions o CDS Views o AMDP procedures o OData services o RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model) applications - Perform performance optimization leveraging SAP HANA capabilities. - Develop and maintain APIs and integration services. C. SAP Fiori Development - Convert Processes and Forms Application based on Adobe Forms into Processes and Forms Application Fiori applications aligned with SAP S/4HANA business processes. - Troubleshoot and resolve Fiori application issues. D. SAP BTP Development and Extension - Develop applications and services using the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model, including: o Core Data Services data models; o CAP services using Node.js and/or Java; o Business logic, validations, actions, and event handling; o REST and OData services; and o Integration with SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA Cloud, and other BTP services. - Design and develop applications and services using the SAP RESTful Application Programming Model, including: o CDS views and data models; o Managed and unmanaged business objects; o Behavior definitions and implementations; o Validations, determinations, actions, and authorizations; o Draft-enabled applications; o OData services; and o SAP Fiori elements applications Design, develop, and implement business processes and approval workflows using SAP Build Process Automation, including: Forms and approval tasks; Business rules and decisions; Multilevel and conditional approvals; Notifications, reminders, escalations, and substitutions; Workflow monitoring and audit trails; and Integration with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Build Apps, CAP, RAP, and external systems. o Demonstrate and apply SAP Joule capabilities by developing or configuring Joule skills, conversational interactions, guided actions, development assistance, process automation, and relevant generative artificial intelligence use cases. o Develop proofs of concept and working prototypes using SAP BTP, SAP Build, SAP Joule, CAP, RAP, and SAP Integration Suite to demonstrate potential business solutions. E. Integration and Interface Development - Develop and support integrations using: o SAP Integration Suite o REST APIs o SOAP services o OData services o IDocs o RFCs/BAPIs - Support integration testing between SAP and external applications. - Troubleshoot interface and middleware-related issues. F. Testing, Deployment and Hypercare Support - Prepare technical unit testing and integration testing documentation. - Support system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and production deployment. - Assist with cutover planning and execution. - Provide post-go-live hypercare and production support. - Resolve defects and technical issues within agreed service levels. ________________________________________ - Deliverables The consultant shall provide: - SAP S/4HANA custom code assessment and remediation reports. - Technical .
