Position: Network Engineer NOC Operations Location: Power Grid Corporation of India Limited, South Delhi- Katwaria Sarai Department: Network Operations Center (NOC) Shift: 24x7 Rotational Shift Operations Job Summary: We are looking for a dedicated and technically skilled Network Engineer to support 24x7 Network Operations Center (NOC) activities. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining network infrastructure to ensure uninterrupted network availability and performance. Mandatory Requirement - CCNA CERTIFIED with GLOBAL ID Key Responsibilities: Monitor network performance and availability through NOC monitoring tools. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve network incidents/issues within defined SLAs. Escalate critical incidents to relevant teams/vendors as required. Perform routine health checks and preventive monitoring activities. Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders for issue resolution. Maintain logs, incident reports, and operational documentation. Ensure timely communication during outages or service degradation. Support network configuration, troubleshooting, and basic change management activities. Adhere to organizational security and operational procedures. Educational Qualification: Graduate Engineer (B.E./B.Tech or equivalent) Certifications: Certification in IP Networking (CCNA/Equivalent preferred) CCNA Certified Candidate with GLOBAL ID Experience: Minimum 1 to 3 years of similar experience in a Network Operations Center (NOC) environment. Required Skills: Basic understanding of IP Networking concepts. Knowledge of routers, switches, LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, and network protocols. Familiarity with network monitoring tools and ticketing systems. Good analytical and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work in 24x7 rotational shifts. Strong communication and coordination abilities. Preferred Skills: Understanding of network security fundamentals. Experience working in enterprise or ISP environments.
