Supply Chain Management Specialist

About the roleWe are seeking a Supply Chain Management Specialist to oversee endtoend supply chain activities in a manufacturing environment. The role ensures uninterrupted production by coordinating material planning, procurement, inventory control, logistics and SAP/ERP transactions.Key responsibilitiesManage overall SCM functions including material planning, procurement coordination, inventory, stores, logistics and dispatch.Collaborate with Production, Purchase, Stores, Quality, PPC, Finance and Sales teams to maintain smooth material flow.Monitor raw material, workinprocess, consumables, boughtout components and finishedgoods inventory.Prepare and track Material Requirement Planning (MRP) schedules and purchase orders.Coordinate inward receipt, inspection, storage and movement of materials.Ensure lineside material availability and timely supply to production.Oversee logistics activities such as transportation, shipment planning and delivery schedules.Maintain SCM records, reports and MIS; analyse performance for cost reduction and process improvement.Handle SAP transactions: Material Master, PO, Stock, GRN, MRP, material movements and generate related reports.Required profile37 years of experience in supply chain, material planning or inventory control within a manufacturing setting.Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain Management.Experience in CNC/VMC machine shop or engineering/manufacturing industry is preferred.Practical knowledge of SAP MM/PP modules is an advantage.Required skillsSAP MM/PPMaterial Requirement Planning (MRP)Inventory managementVendor coordinationProduction supportSAP reporting and data reconciliation .
