Role Description The Video Journalist is a full-time, on-site role based in Tiruvallur. This role involves researching and developing story ideas aligned with BETAs products, initiatives, and brand narrative, then scripting clear and engaging video content. The Video Journalist will plan and execute shoots, including setting up equipment, capturing interviews, product demos, and behind-the-scenes footage, and ensuring high-quality audio and visuals. Daily tasks include collaborating with product, marketing, and communications teams, editing video packages for various digital channels, and preparing content for broadcasting or online distribution. The role also requires staying informed about industry trends and best practices in video journalism to continuously improve storytelling and production quality. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Journalism and Writing for clear, accurate, and compelling storytelling.Candidates should possess solid Video Production skills, including planning, shooting video, and basic to intermediate video editing.Candidates should possess familiarity with Broadcasting practices, including formatting stories for digital and broadcast platforms.Candidates should possess proficiency with cameras, audio equipment, lighting setups, and common video editing software.Candidates should possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Candidates should possess strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams on-site.Previous experience in journalism, media production, or digital content creation is preferred.A relevant academic background in Media Studies, Journalism, Communications, or a related field is beneficial. .
