Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer with strong experience in the IoT domain to design, build, and scale backend systems for connected devices and real-time data processing. The ideal candidate has hands-on expertise in Node.js (TypeScript) and/or Python, deep knowledge of MQTT, microservices architecture, and cloud-native deployments on AWS. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js (TypeScript) and/or Python Build and optimize IoT platforms handling device communication, telemetry, and real-time data ingestion Implement and manage MQTT-based messaging systems for reliable device communication Design and develop micro services architectures with RESTful APIs Implement authentication and authorization using Keycloak Work with MySQL and MongoDB for high-performance data storage and retrieval Containerize applications using Docker and manage deployments using container orchestration tools Write and maintain Shell scripts for automation, monitoring, and deployment tasks Deploy, monitor, and optimize applications on AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, etc.) Ensure system reliability, performance, security, and scalability Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend, DevOps, and product teams Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making RequirementsRequired Skills & Qualifications 6+ years of experience in backend development Strong expertise in Node.js (TypeScript) and/or Python Proven experience working in the IoT domain Hands-on experience with MQTT protocol Strong database skills in MySQL and MongoDB Experience implementing Keycloak for authentication and authorization Solid understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs Experience with Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes/ECS preferred) Strong Shell scripting skills (Bash or similar) Good working knowledge of AWS services Experience with Linux-based systems Strong problem-solving and debugging skills Nice to Have Experience with high-throughput or real-time systems Knowledge of event-driven architectures Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines Exposure to Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch) .
