This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a global technology project focused on building scalable, secure, and high-performance digital platforms. You will work across the full technology stack, developing modern user interfaces with React and robust backend services with Node.js. The position also provides exposure to data-driven microservices, with Python expertise offering an opportunity to contribute across additional layers of the platform. You will collaborate closely with designers, analysts, and fellow engineers to translate business requirements into reliable technical solutions. A strong focus on testing, performance, security, and scalability will be central to your work. You will operate within an Agile/Scrum environment, participating in code reviews and continuous delivery practices. This is an opportunity to work with modern cloud, data, and AI technologies while contributing to international projects across multiple industries. \n Accountabilities Develop new features, reusable UI components, and responsive user experiences using React. Build scalable backend APIs and services with Node.js, using REST APIs, asynchronous programming, and frameworks such as Express or NestJS. Contribute to data-driven microservices and backend capabilities, leveraging Python where appropriate. Write, maintain, and improve unit tests to achieve strong test coverage and reliable application behavior. Participate actively in code reviews, Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and other collaborative development activities. Work closely with designers, business analysts, and engineers to understand requirements and deliver solutions aligned with business objectives. Optimize application performance across front-end and backend layers to ensure responsive and efficient systems. Design and implement secure, scalable, and maintainable application architectures. Contribute to continuous integration and deployment processes while following established Git-based development workflows. Help evaluate and implement modern technologies, development practices, and architectural improvements as project needs evolve. Requirements 4+ years of professional commercial experience as a Full Stack Developer or in a comparable software engineering role. Strong hands-on expertise with React, including hooks, state management, component architecture, and modern front-end development practices. Proven experience developing backend applications with Node.js, including REST APIs, asynchronous programming, and frameworks such as Express or NestJS. Strong proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript. Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases and the ability to work effectively with different data-storage approaches. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and strong proficiency with Git and modern software development workflows. Strong understanding of software testing, code quality, performance optimization, and scalable architecture. Fluent English, with the ability to participate confidently in technical discussions and produce clear technical documentation. Python development experience with frameworks such as Flask, Django, or FastAPI, or experience developing Python-based APIs and microservices, is a strong plus. Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is advantageous. Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus. Familiarity with GraphQL APIs is beneficial. UX awareness and experience improving application performance are advantageous. Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a multinational, multicultural, and distributed engineering environment.
