They are seeking a Revenue Cycle Systems Analyst to implement and maintain revenue cycle system applications, acting as a liaison between various stakeholders to enhance system functionality and resolve issues. ResponsibilitiesImplement, modify, test and administer modules and systems related to revenue cycle system applicationsServe as a liaison between vendors, I.T. personnel, other application analysts, management and end users to resolve questions related to system functionality and designAssess end user needs and recommend modificationsRecommend and document procedural changesDevelop standard and customized application reportsPerform all analytical tasks as assigned in the development of each program and secure the documentation, testing, and final analysis to ensure job and system efficiencyPerform team and integrated testing for all functionality of billing systems and their interfacesFunction as resource for users in the development of time saving processes or new featuresResponsible for the development, testing, and maintenance of the Epic modules and applications related to Revenue Cycle, the Claims Manager System, and other systems, interfaces, and processes related to billingIdentify system requirements in base revenue cycle areasDemonstrate comprehensive knowledge or resource regarding the functionality of all modules in the billing systemsPossess a thorough understanding of project planningDevelop plans for small projectsPerform comparative analysis of system design to requirements identified by users within the revenue cycle areaAct as a team member to maintain various system parameter tables including reference tables (ICD codes, payor plans, provider, procedures etc.), issue enhancement logs, etcServe as first point of contact for systems end-users for issues related to information system performance across revenue cycle areasResearch, document, and facilitate resolution to issues reported by end-usersAccept shared responsibility for on-going support of revenue software applicationsCreate ad hoc reports and application report templates for multiple purposesReview, research, test and facilitate system updates and responsible for user maintenance for multiple systems including coordinating and engaging in unit and integrated application testingAssist with the development and testing of 3rd party systems housed outside of the revenue cycle with regards to billing charge files and master filesResearch and utilize 3rd party software to create programming logic to aid operational processesMaintain general knowledge of CPT, ICD codes and HCPCS and HIPAA Transaction Code SetsDraft reference materials and assist with documentation for training courses to prepare staff for effective system useProvide support for 24 x 7 environmentsParticipate in on-call responsibilities including early morning and evening hours to support customer needsAdhere to and enforce Carle Foundation Administrative and Departmental policies and proceduresSkills Must have application support and build experienceEpic Certification within 2 months - EPICAssociate's Degree: Related FieldAssociate's Degree: Computer ScienceAssociate's Degree: FinanceAssociate's Degree: AccountingWork Experience: Revenue cycleCompany Overview Carle Health provides personalized care you can trust and count on.
