VARStreet is implementing Agentic AI to help generate specifications, user stories, test scenarios, test cases, test suites, test execution, and Playwright-based automation. The Senior QA Engineer will be responsible for validating the quality and correctness of these AI-generated outputs, identifying gaps or incorrect assumptions, providing structured feedback to improve the Agentic system, and maintaining high-quality functional and automated test coverage. The role requires strong testing fundamentals, business workflow understanding, API and database testing, and practical automation experience. Key Responsibilities Analyze requirements, workflows, user stories, and business rules.Review and validate AI-generated specifications, test scenarios, test cases, and test suites.Identify missing, duplicate, incorrect, or low-value test coverage.Validate AI-generated Playwright automation for correctness, reliability, and maintainability.Review automated test results and identify whether failures are caused by application defects, automation, test data, or environment issues.Provide structured feedback to improve Agentic AI-generated testing output.Maintain functional, regression, integration, smoke, and automated test suites.Perform functional, regression, integration, exploratory, API, and database testing.Investigate defects using application behavior, API responses, logs, and database data.Work closely with developers and product teams to troubleshoot issues and assess release risks.Review test coverage and mentor junior QA engineers where required.Maintain test documentation, traceability, and test execution records.
