Key Responsibilities Receive and review purchase requisitions from different departments.Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers and vendors.Obtain and compare quotations from multiple suppliers.Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, discounts, and other commercial conditions.Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) after receiving the necessary approvals.Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.Coordinate with stores, production, accounts, administration, and other departments regarding purchase requirements.Verify specifications, quantities, quality standards, and delivery requirements before placing orders.Maintain proper records of quotations, purchase orders, invoices, supplier details, and related documents.Monitor market prices and identify opportunities for cost savings.Develop and maintain good relationships with existing and new suppliers.Handle supplier delays, shortages, quality issues, returns, and other procurement-related problems.Ensure purchases are made according to approved budgets and company policies.Support inventory planning and avoid unnecessary overstocking or shortages.Coordinate with the Accounts Department for invoice verification and payment-related issues.Maintain an updated supplier database and vendor performance records.Prepare regular purchase reports, cost comparisons, pending PO reports, and procurement status reports.Ensure compliance with company procurement procedures and approval processes.Assist management in annual rate contracts, bulk purchases, and strategic sourcing.Perform other purchasing and procurement duties assigned by management.Additional Responsibilities Purchase Manager Level Lead and supervise the purchase/procurement team.Develop procurement strategies to reduce purchasing costs and improve efficiency.Establish and negotiate annual rate contracts and long-term supplier agreements.Review and approve purchase recommendations within delegated authority.Monitor supplier performance, pricing trends, and procurement KPIs.Develop alternate suppliers to reduce supply-chain risks.Coordinate with management on major purchases and high-value negotiations.Establish and improve procurement policies, systems, and procedures.Compensation: 20,000.00 - 40,000.00 per month Education: Master's (Preferred)Experience: Purchasing: 4 years (Preferred)Language: English (Preferred)Location: Bhiwandi, Maharashtra (Bhiwandi) (Preferred)Work Location: In person .
