Responsibilities: We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer with expertise in Mobile and Web Applications. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the flawless performance of applications by preventing defects from reaching production. Your role encompasses a wide range of tasks, including manual testing, test case design, debugging, and tracking quality assurance metrics. - Create Test Plans: Review project requirements, specifications, and technical designs to develop detailed and structured test plans and cases. - Perform Testing: Estimate, prioritize, plan, and perform both manual and automated testing activities. - Bug Identification and Tracking: Identify, record, document, and track bugs, conducting thorough regression testing upon bug resolution. - Client Collaboration: Collaborate with internal and onsite client managers to understand testing requirements, develop QA plans, and provide regular updates. - Stay Current: Keep abreast of developments in Mobile and Web Applications, creating test strategies for evolving technologies. Qualifications: - Education: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. - Experience: 2 to 5 years of proven work experience in software Quality Assurance (QA) for Mobile and Web Applications, including frontend, backend, APIs, and databases. - QA Methodologies: Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. - QA Abilities: Proven ability to detect issues early, employing various techniques to find problems in Software, including testing corner cases before they impact the go-live. - UI/UX Testing: Familiarity with UI/UX guidelines for Mobile and Web applications, with a keen eye for spotting inconsistencies. - Detail Oriented: Deep understanding of how devices and web browsers function, coupled with an acute attention to detail. - Test Case Development: Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases. - Testing Techniques: Proficiency in both white box and black box testing. - Agile/Scrum: Familiarity with working in an Agile/Scrum development process. - Additional Skills: Experience in performance and security testing is a plus.
