Senior Data Engineer Incentive Compensation Department: Global Analytics and Technology Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time Location: India Description Job location: Remote in India About the role: We are looking for an Senior Data Engineer Incentive Compensation to own the end-to-end accuracy, automation, and continuous improvement of Sun King's agent and staff incentive and commission systems. This role sits at the intersection of data, business logic, and stakeholder collaboration requiring someone who can translate complex incentive rules into reliable automated workflows, identify and resolve discrepancies proactively, and communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. The ideal candidate brings problem-solving skills, a structured approach to investigating data issues, a data quality-first mindset, and the ability to build trust with field teams and business stakeholders by ensuring incentive outcomes are fair, timely, and well understood. What you will be expected to do Own the design, maintenance, and continuous improvement of incentive calculation pipelines, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all agent incentive outputs. Lead the end-to-end automation of the incentive pipeline. Automate every incentive process to make it event based and not schedule based. Translate business incentive rules and policy changes into automated, auditable data workflows in collaboration with the Data Engineering team. Build and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to proactively detect anomalies in commission outputs before they impact agents. Implement rigorous quality assurance frameworks and reconciliation dashboards to ensure 100% accuracy and auditability for every dollar disbursed. Architect the system to handle multi-line-of-business (Phones, Inverters, LPG) and multi-country complexities without increasing manual overhead.
