Data Modeler Azure Databricks Job Type: Contract Experience: 57 Years Location: Bangalore / Pune / Mumbai / Hyderabad / Noida Work Mode: Hybrid / Remote Working Hours: 11:00 AM 8:00 PM IST US Overlap: Up to 4 hours of US working-hours overlap Job Summary We are hiring an experienced Data Modeler Azure Databricks with strong expertise in Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, Medallion Architecture, and advanced data modeling. The candidate will be responsible for designing implementation-ready conceptual, logical, and physical data models that can be directly consumed by Data Engineering teams. Key Responsibilities Design logical and physical data models using Azure Databricks and Delta Lake. Develop Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data Models (CDM/LDM/PDM). Design data structures following Bronze, Silver, and Gold Medallion Architecture. Define entities, attributes, relationships, keys, constraints, schemas, and data types. Create DDL-ready SQL definitions for Data Engineering implementation. Define transformation logic across Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers. Apply Delta Lake best practices for scalable data solutions. Design using 3NF, Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, and Data Vault methodologies. Create and maintain ER diagrams, data dictionaries, source-to-target mappings, and mapping documents. Translate business requirements into scalable and implementation-ready data models. Ensure data integrity, performance, scalability, and accessibility. Collaborate with Data Engineers, Architects, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders. Strong hands-on experience in logical and physical data modeling. Strong knowledge of Azure Databricks and Delta Lake. Ability to create implementation-ready models for Data Engineering teams. Strong understanding of schemas, relationships, keys, constraints, and data types. Strong SQL and DDL skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
