Why This Role Matters In the fastpaced world of healthcare finance, accurate data entry is the backbone of the revenue cycle. As a Data Entry Clerk Revenue Cycle you will be the guardian of critical patient billing information, insurance details, and payment records. Your meticulous work ensures that patients receive clear, timely billing, that providers are reimbursed correctly, and that arenaflex remains compliant with industry regulations such as HIPAA. Key Responsibilities Accurate Data Capture: Enter patient demographics, billing codes, and insurance information into arenaflexs electronic practice management system with a focus on zeroerror entry. Record Maintenance: Update and maintain comprehensive records of patient interactions, payments, adjustments, and claim statuses. Discrepancy Resolution: Verify data for inconsistencies, correct errors promptly, and flag any anomalies for further review. Insurance Claim Processing: Assist in the endtoend claim workflowverify coverage, input claim details, submit to the clearinghouse, and follow up on pending or denied claims. Collaboration with Billing & Coding Teams: Ensure that all necessary documentation accompanies each claim to maximize reimbursement and reduce rejections. Collections Support: Record payment information, reconcile outstanding balances, and support the collections team in resolving delinquent accounts. Regulatory Compliance: Conduct regular reviews of data entries to guarantee adherence to HIPAA, patient privacy standards, and other healthcare regulations. Quality Assurance Participation: Take part in internal audits, qualitycontrol checks, and continuousimprovement initiatives to uphold data integrity. CrossDepartmental Coordination: Work closely with patient registration, coding, finance, and clinical departments to streamline data flow and enhance overall revenuecycle efficiency. Inquiry Response: Provide timely, accurate answers to internal staff inquiries regarding billing and payment information. Confidentiality Stewardship: Handle all patient information with the utmost confidentiality, following arenaflexs strict datasecurity protocols. Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Proficiency with dataentry tools, electronic health record (EHR) systems, and database management software. Exceptional attention to detail and a proven track record of delivering errorfree work. Strong organizational and timemanagement capabilities, enabling you to prioritize multiple tasks in a fastmoving environment. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, essential for interacting with colleagues and external partners. Fundamental knowledge of healthcare billing terminology, coding conventions, and revenuecycle concepts.
