The role focuses on identifying new sales opportunities, managing customer relationships, and driving revenue growth by promoting Advantech's Focused products and solutions. The position is based in Bangalore and requires a proactive, target-driven sales professional capable of operating in a fast-paced environment. Reporting of the Role This position reports directly to the Sales Manager and collaborates closely with internal teams, including sales, application engineering, and other support functions. Bangalore, India Responsibilities of the Role Sales & Business Development Actively identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and digital channels Present, promote, and sell Advantech products and solutions to prospective customers Achieve assigned sales targets and business outcomes within defined timelines Develop and execute strategies across the full sales cycle, from deal initiation to successful closure. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and support throughout the process. Customer & Key Account Management Establish, develop, and maintain strong customer and business relationships Understand customer requirements and propose appropriate product or solution offerings Work towards long-term account development and revenue growth Sales Coordination & Market Analysis Coordinate sales efforts with internal teams and cross-functional departments Analyze market potential, track sales performance, and prepare regular status reports Stay updated on industry best practices, competitive landscape, and promotional trends Continuous Improvement Continuously enhance sales effectiveness through feedback, training, and skill development Required Qualifications Engineering degree or equivalent qualification 24 years of experience as a Sales Engineer in Embedded Computers, Industrial computing, IoT, Edge AI, Networking products and solutions, Automation .Strong sales orientation with a proven track record of achieving targets Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills Ability to create and deliver customer-focused presentations Strong relationship management skills and openness to feedback Additional / Preferred Qualifications Experience in selling product ranges similar to Advantech's portfolio Familiarity with CRM and SAP systems Understanding of sales performance metrics and reporting About Advantech Advantech is a global leader in IoT intelligent systems and embedded platforms, with the corporate vision of 'Enabling an Intelligent Planet.'
