The generation and development of qualified leads for the sales team, primarily handling outbound telemarketing, coordinating with email and mailing efforts across all sales channels, but also some inbound call handling in response to online enquiries and other marketing activities. Working with the prospect database to develop prospects into qualified leads, coordinating with sales activities. Liasing with marketing to assist in event follow-up and mail campaigns. Developing and maintaining the required knowledge our products to identify customer needs and maximize the opportunity. Accurately recording new information (company, contacts, job titles) into the marketing databases, continuously validating all data, including current contacts and associated details such as email addresses, within the marketing database with the input of updates as required. Undertaking research as required to the identify new organisations and markets for the team to target. Required Skills Minimum of one year(s) experience of operating in a telephone based role, ideally within in a telemarketing or sales environment. Excellent telephone skills combined with a proven track record of building customer relationships over the phone by using a friendly and tenacious approach. Strong levels of PC literacy. Solid experience in Microsoft Outlook experience (or equivalent) for general company communication. Solid experience in End user experience of in-house or proprietary marketing/sales/lead generation databases. Solid experience in Microsoft Excel (or another spreadsheet package) experience with a good grasp of some basic functions, such as sorting information. Solid experience in Internet searching experience to gather relevant data and information. Proven capability to work with high volumes of data within tight timescales whilst maintaining accuracy. Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach to work. Proactive approach to work with proven ability to work independently when required as well as working part of a team. Web Research Research on relevant topics and events as assigned Tele-Calling for first level prospecting Use search engines to identify target companies as defined from time to time. Initiate first level contact with 'C' and other level prospects & pitch the ground. Prospect for new customers by cold calling Interact with VP or C level people over the phone. Maximize contacts and lead generation. Pitch company offerings to prospects in Indian Market Execute qualification calls to a set of targeted accounts to uncover opportunities for sales follow up. Transition prospects to Manager for further interactions and deal closures. KPIs( Key Performance Indicators) Number new companies/contacts added Quality of marketing data Number calls completed Number of qualified leads/appointments/conference calls Desirable Skills Experience of running queries and running reports from databases Genuine interest in the sales process. An awareness and understanding of Data Protection issues. Previous experience of working within a Franchise Distributor . No telephone/calling fear Excellent lead qualification and lead generation skills to discover opportunities for sales follow up. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Qualification Should be a graduate engineer with any Electronic discipline preferably with MBA .
