Key Responsibilities - Manage procurement of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and instrumentation spares. - Understand maintenance requirements, technical specifications, BOMs and drawings before sourcing. - Identify, develop and evaluate reliable vendors for MRO requirements. - Prepare RFQs, comparative statements and Purchase Orders (POs); obtain quotations and negotiate pricing. - Ensure timely availability of critical and breakdown-related maintenance spares. - Coordinate with Maintenance, Stores, Production, Finance and Quality teams. - Monitor pending orders, delivery schedules and supplier performance. - Maintain optimum stock levels and support inventory control to minimize excess/obsolete inventory. - Handle vendor negotiations, cost reduction and supplier development activities. - Maintain procurement records, vendor data and reports using SAP/ERP and MS Excel. - Ensure purchased materials meet required quality and technical specifications. Required Skills - Maintenance Purchase / MRO Procurement / Engineering Purchase. - Strong practical knowledge of maintenance spare parts procurement. - Manufacturing, engineering, foundry or heavy-industry experience preferred. - Strong vendor development, negotiation and follow-up skills. - SAP MM / ERP Purchase knowledge preferred. - Valuable working knowledge of MS Excel. - Ability to understand technical specifications, drawings and maintenance requirements. - Strong communication, coordination and analytical skills. - Ability to handle urgent procurement requirements effectively. .
