Role Purpose Own end-to-end execution of recent product development from concept through launch enabling faster, more predictable delivery across concurrent projects while upholding process discipline and quality standards. Key Responsibilities 1. Process & Governance - Own the Stage-Gate process; ensure every gate has clear exit criteria and formal sign-off before progression - Institutionalize documentation discipline across market research, design, and engineering stages 2. Program & Delivery Management - Plan and sequence multiple concurrent NPD projects; manage resource allocation and timeline conflicts - Track project health (scope, schedule, cost) and proactively flag risks 3. Vendor & Cross-Functional Coordination - Manage day-to-day vendor/supplier engagement on technical and delivery issues - Lead escalations independently; involve leadership only on high-impact exceptions 4. Quality Alignment - Maintain a close working relationship with SQA to ensure design and build quality feedback loops into the process - Track quality-issue closure without holding sign-off authority quality decisions remain independent 5. Reporting & Team Management - Maintain project tracking tools (man-hour utilization, dashboards) and provide regular status reporting to leadership - Manage day-to-day priorities and output of design, engineering, and coordination team members Requirements - 8-12 years in NPD/program management, preferably in hardware, automotive, or e-mobility - Demonstrated ownership of multi-project delivery and independent vendor/supplier management - Strong cross-functional influence skills able to align teams without direct authority over every function - Experience with Stage-Gate or similar structured product development processes - Multi-site team coordination experience is a plus What Success Looks Like - Gate reviews happen on schedule with complete documentation - Vendor issues resolved at PM level; leadership involved only on exceptions - Reduced project delays from resource/timeline conflicts across concurrent programs .
