Overview We are looking for a contractor to help us build direct contact lists for independent physicians in hard-to-reach specialties. This role is focused on creative, non-standard lead generation where traditional tools like LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, or Apollo fall short. You will own the problem end to end, from identifying the right physicians to sourcing accurate mobile contact information. The Problem Youll Work On Many independent physicians, including anesthesiologists, ER doctors, and similar specialties, do not maintain public LinkedIn profiles or easily discoverable work emails. Contacting them requires: Identifying lists of physicians by specialty Determining whether they are independent or affiliated with a larger group or hospital Inferring likely personal contact information when professional details are unavailable Verifying accuracy and relevance of contact data This is not a copy-paste lead gen role. It requires judgment, inference, and persistence. Responsibilities Source lists of physicians by specialty using public records, licensing databases, group websites, call schedules, or other creative sources Determine employment or independence status using available signals Research and identify likely mobile phone numbers using public data tools and cross-referencing techniques Validate data accuracy and flag uncertainty clearly Propose and test new methods for sourcing hard-to-find contacts Document repeatable workflows and heuristics What Were Looking For Strong research instincts and comfort with ambiguous data Experience sourcing leads outside of standard sales tools Familiarity with public records, people search tools, and data triangulation High attention to detail and ethical judgment around data use Ability to work independently and propose solutions rather than wait for instructions Nice to Have Experience working with healthcare data or physician directories Prior work in investigative research, recruiting, or growth ops Comfort using spreadsheets and basic automation tools Engagement Contract role Paid per project or per verified lead set Fully remote Apply To this Job Company : Clearest Health Salary : Work from home .

That number is real. WorkMundi's database shows 144,883 open engineer roles across the world. India has the most with 31,687 jobs, followed by the United States with 30,084. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.

Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.

Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.

When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
