Main tasks & key accountabilities: - You will develop and execute regional BD and sales strategies for the PPE & Workwear segment in India, leveraging market, customer, and competitive insights, while building strong relationships with end users, value chains, suppliers, and internal teams to drive commercial excellence. - You will manage and grow existing downstream partnerships with fabric and garment manufacturers, support all fiber-related activities, and develop strategic account plans, goals, and growth initiatives for key brand accounts. - You will identify, develop, and manage new supply chain partners and secondary accounts, supporting product commercialization, sourcing, positioning, pricing, and long-term business development opportunities. - You will collect, analyze, and share market intelligence, competitive insights, industry trends, sustainability developments, and sales performance data to support strategic decision-making and growth planning. - You will promote the Lenzing fiber portfolio and innovations through customer engagements, industry events, webinars, presentations, workshops, and co-branding initiatives to strengthen market presence and customer adoption. - You will identify short-, mid-, and long-term growth opportunities across customers, products, applications, and regions, while developing go-to-market strategies and expanding the use of Lenzing fibers within the PPE segment. - You will collaborate closely with BD, TMD, Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Global Segment Heads, and regional teams, while maintaining strong relationships with industry associations, standardization bodies, specifiers, universities, NGOs, and other key stakeholders. Our expectations for this exciting role: - You hold a University degree in business management or equivalent or a related technical degree with specialization in fibers/textiles. - You bring a minimum of 10 years of experience in the textile industry, preferably within technical textiles, including at least 5 years of experience in Business Development or a comparable commercial role. - You demonstrate solid technical and commercial acumen, supported by proven negotiation skills, financial understanding, and knowledge of supply chain management and sourcing. - You leverage effective networking and communication skills to build strong relationships across the textile value chain and drive business growth. - You apply your technical understanding of fibers, textiles, and downstream manufacturing processes to identify opportunities and support customer and market development. - You are comfortable with frequent travelling, with an expectation of spending at least one week per month traveling to customers, partners, and industry events. .
