We are seeking an experienced SDET (Java) with strong expertise in Web UI and Mobile Automation. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience with Selenium, Java, Cucumber, Appium, REST API automation, and AWS Device Farm. This role requires a solid understanding of automation frameworks, CI/CD practices, database testing, and BDD concepts, along with strong problem-solving and communication skills. You will work closely with engineering teams, product owners, and QA leadership to ensure high-quality, scalable test automation across web, mobile, and API layers. Requirements Experience: 7+ Years Work Mode: WFO Shift: UK Shift Employment Type: Full-Time (Permanent) Key Responsibilities - Lead automation efforts across Web UI, Mobile, and API layers using Selenium, Java, Cucumber, and Appium. - Execute mobile automation using Appium with hands-on exposure to AWS Device Farm. - Build, maintain, and enhance automation frameworks using Java, BDD, Maven/Gradle, and version control systems. - Develop Gherkin feature files and automate acceptance criteria using Cucumber. - Perform end-to-end REST API test automation and validation. - Work with GitLab or similar source code repositories for versioning and integration. - Perform database testing using JDBC, Hibernate, or Spring JDBC. - Utilize tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Xray for test management. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve issues efficiently. - Participate in debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis. Required Skills & Experience - 6 - 8 years of experience in Web UI Automation with Selenium, Java, and Cucumber. - 2 - 3 years of hands-on Mobile Automation experience using Appium. AWS Device Farm - Solid REST API automation skills. - Experience with GitLab, Git version control, and build tools (Maven/Gradle). - Strong understanding of BDD concepts, Gherkin, and automation frameworks. - Experience with databases using JDBC/Hibernate/Spring JDBC. - Hands-on experience using JIRA, Confluence, and Xray. - Excellent communication, ownership, and stakeholder coordination skills.
