Sr. Quality Assurance Manager

Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer Location: Lothda, Rajkot, Gujarat Experience: 4 to 8 Years Employment Type: Full-Time Department: Quality Assurance / Quality Control Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Quality team at Lothda, Rajkot. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality, implementing quality standards, identifying process improvements, and maintaining compliance with customer and industry requirements. Key Responsibilities Monitor and ensure quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and inspection standards. Conduct incoming, in-process, and final product inspections. Analyze quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Handle customer complaints and coordinate for effective resolution. Prepare and maintain quality reports, inspection reports, NCRs, and other quality documentation. Conduct root cause analysis using tools such as 5 Why, Fishbone, 8D , etc. Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Purchase, and other departments to resolve quality-related issues. Support internal and external quality audits. Ensure compliance with applicable quality standards, procedures, and customer requirements. Identify opportunities for process improvement and reduction of rejection/rework. Guide and support junior quality engineers and inspectors. Monitor quality KPIs and prepare periodic reports for management. Required Skills & Qualifications Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering or relevant field. 48 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control , preferably in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of quality tools and problem-solving techniques. Experience with CAPA, 8D, RCA, FMEA, Control Plan, SPC, MSA and related quality documentation. Good knowledge of inspection and measurement techniques. Familiarity with ISO 9001 and quality management systems. Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in MS Office and quality documentation. Preferred Candidate Experience in a manufacturing/engineering industry. Experience in handling customer and supplier quality issues will be an advantage.
