Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain workplace health and safety policies and procedures. Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards. Ensure employees follow safety rules, regulations, and standard operating procedures. Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness training for employees and workers. Monitor the proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near-miss events and prepare reports. Recommend corrective and preventive actions to avoid future incidents. Maintain safety records, inspection reports, incident reports, and other documentation. Ensure emergency procedures, fire safety systems, and evacuation plans are properly implemented. Coordinate emergency drills and safety training programs. Monitor compliance with occupational health and safety standards and legal requirements. Inspect machinery, equipment, tools, and work areas to ensure safe operation. Work closely with management, supervisors, and employees to improve workplace safety. Promote a strong safety culture and encourage employees to report unsafe conditions.
