About the Role We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Engineering Manager to lead high-performing engineering teams in building scalable, reliable, and innovative technology solutions. This is a critical leadership position responsible for driving technical excellence, mentoring engineers, aligning engineering efforts with business objectives, and delivering high-impact products. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical depth with exceptional people-management skills, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and ownership. Key Responsibilities Lead, manage, and grow a team of software engineers, providing technical guidance, career development, performance feedback, and coaching to help team members achieve their full potential. Define and execute the engineering roadmap in partnership with product, design, and business stakeholders, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features and systems. Drive architectural decisions, code quality standards, system design best practices, and technical debt management across multiple projects. Oversee the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and incident response. Establish and improve engineering processes, CI/CD pipelines, Agile/Scrum methodologies, sprint planning, retrospectives, and release management. Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Managers, Designers, QA, DevOps, Data, and Security teams to ensure seamless delivery and alignment on priorities. Recruit, interview, and onboard top engineering talent while building an inclusive, high-trust team culture. Monitor system performance, reliability (SLIs/SLOs), scalability, and security; drive initiatives to improve observability, resilience, and operational excellence. Manage project timelines, resource allocation, risk identification, and stakeholder communication to keep initiatives on track. Champion engineering best practices including code reviews, automated testing, documentation, pair programming, and knowledge sharing. Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and tools; evaluate and introduce new frameworks, languages, or platforms when they deliver clear value. Foster a culture of psychological safety, continuous learning, and innovation while maintaining high standards of accountability and delivery.
