Description Job Title: Senior Azure DevOps Engineer Role Overview The Senior Azure DevOps Engineer is accountable for the design, implementation, and ongoing optimisation of CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) supporting Azure-based integration solutions. The role enables secure, reliable, and repeatable deployments of Azure Integration Services, including Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and API Management, across multiple environments. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, this role works closely with development, integration, and platform teams to ensure deployment readiness, release quality, and operational resilience, while providing technical guidance to less experienced engineers. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities CI/CD & Infrastructure Automation Design, build, own, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for: Azure Logic Apps (Consumption and Standard) Azure Function Apps Azure API Management Terraform-based infrastructure deployments Develop and maintain Terraform modules and templates to provision Azure resources including: Service Bus Azure Key Vault Storage Accounts App Services and supporting components Ensure consistent, repeatable, and auditable deployments across Dev, Test, UAT, and Production environments DevOps Best Practices & Security Implement secure secrets and configuration management using Azure Key Vault and managed identities Apply DevOps best practices such as: GitFlow or trunk-based development Pull request governance and code reviews Automated validations and quality gates Embed security and compliance controls into pipelines and IaC Release & Operational Support Support secure releases, environment promotions, and planned deployment windows Troubleshoot and optimise CI/CD pipelines, Terraform executions, and infrastructure issues Ensure deployments meet operational readiness and rollback standards Collaboration & Leadership Collaborate closely with development, integration, and platform teams to enable high-quality releases Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior DevOps engineers Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, standards, and documentation Qualifications Experience Band 57 years of hands-on experience in Azure DevOps, cloud automation, and infrastructure provisioning. Technical Skills & Experience Essential Strong hands-on expertise with Terraform for Azure Infrastructure as Code Extensive experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines and/or GitHub Actions Proven experience deploying Azure Logic Apps (Consumption and Standard) Azure Function Apps Azure API Management Solid understanding of Azure resource provisioning, environment configuration, and parameterisation Strong knowledge of secrets management and security automation using Azure Key Vault Experience with Git-based version control systems and release management workflows Preferred Microsoft Azure AZ-104 (Azure Administrator) certification Microsoft Azure AZ-400 (Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) certification Experience working in enterprise-scale or managed services DevOps environments .
