AI Product Manager (Pharma and Life sciences)

Organization :- Leading name in the Pharma and Life Sciences domain Location :- Hyderabad Role :- Product Manager Domain Experience Must - Pharma OR Life Sciences OVERVIEW Hiring an AI Product Manager to lead the development and adoption of AI-powered platforms across drug discovery, development, and manufacturing. As an integrated CRDMO partnering with over hundreds of global pharma and biotech innovators, this role sits at a high-impact intersection: enabling scientists to work smarter using advanced data and AI capabilities. You will design and scale intuitive, AI-driven products that empower chemists, biologists, and process engineers, building on the organization's existing digital and data investments to create a cohesive AI product ecosystem that enhances productivity across the organization. RESPONSIBILITIES Own and drive the AI product roadmap including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release management across drug discovery, development, and manufacturing digital platforms. Write clear PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria that engineering and data science teams can execute on, accounting for CRDMO data and regulatory constraints. Define and track success metrics; conduct regular user research with scientists and business heads to identify friction points and use data-driven insights to continuously improve adoption and workflow efficiency Lead cross functional product squads - AI/ML engineers, data scientists, and domain scientists to make informed tradeoffs around model accuracy, automation, and compliance. Manage backlog prioritization using frameworks such as RICE across new features, infrastructure, and technical debt while keeping stakeholders aligned on timelines and scope. Translate ambiguous, domain-specific problems into structured, buildable AI solutions from problem definition through to production deployment. Develop working familiarity with LLM-based pipelines and agentic workflows to engage meaningfully with engineering and ensure technically sound product decisions. Build quick working prototypes using agentic platforms (such as Lovable, V0 etc.) to validate ideas and workflows with business teams Act as the primary product spokesperson to executive leadership presenting roadmaps, impact metrics and investment cases QUALIFICATIONS 4+ years of product management experience shipping AI, digital, or analytics products in production environments. Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical or scientific concepts across audiences. Strong working knowledge of frontend, backend and AI/ML technologies PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Prior experience in life sciences, pharma, or biotech environments. Exposure to enterprise or B2B product development including compliance and regulatory considerations. Understanding of digital & analytics platforms and LLM & GenAI applications .
