We're looking for an experienced and visionary Project Manager - Design to join our dynamic team in Mumbai, India. In this role, you'll lead and support design-focused project management commissions, ensuring exceptional service delivery while maintaining our commitment to innovation and client satisfaction. You'll work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, consultants, and stakeholders to deliver projects that exceed expectations and drive organizational success. Lead end-to-end project management commissions, taking full responsibility for design project delivery from inception through completionProvide strategic support on major design projects, managing specific aspects of service delivery and ensuring alignment with client objectivesManage design consultants and coordinate consultant appointments, fostering collaborative relationships that enhance project outcomesOversee commercial and budget management, ensuring projects are delivered within cost targets while maintaining quality standards and timelinesLead and mentor project teams, promoting a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvementDevelop and implement comprehensive risk management strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks proactivelyCoordinate seamlessly with internal teams, external stakeholders, and site personnel to ensure smooth project executionAnalyze project performance metrics and provide detailed reporting to senior management, demonstrating analytical rigor and transparencyCustomize design solutions to meet client requirements while maintaining technical excellence and adherence to industry standardsChampion design thinking and problem-solving approaches to deliver innovative solutions that add value to projects Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Design, or related field; Master's degree in Project Management, Design Management, or relevant discipline is preferred10-12 years of post-qualification experience in project management, design management, or design consultancy rolesProven expertise in design project delivery, design management, and design consultancy practicesStrong proficiency with design management tools, software, and project management platformsDemonstrated excellence in commercial and budget management, with the ability to manage projects in the Rs5 crore to Rs10 crore rangeExceptional team management and leadership capabilities, with experience mentoring and developing project teamsAdvanced stakeholder management and client relationship management skillsComprehensive understanding of risk management methodologies and quality assurance standardsExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate complex design concepts clearlyStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a detail-oriented approach to project executionProficiency in schedule and timeline management, ensuring projects are delivered on timeExperience working in a consultancy environment with exposure to diverse project types and client basesDemonstrated ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partnersStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyCommitment to innovation, continuous improvement, and professional development Turner & Townsend is an equal opportunity employer.
