PL/SQL Developer Job Description We are looking for an experienced Oracle Backend Developer who is passionate about leveraging technical expertise in a growing business environment. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with optimization, tuning, and database modelling, while being result-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality solutions. The product is a Demand & Supply Planning solution successfully deployed across 15 countries, with plans for further horizontal and vertical expansion. You will work as part of an international team of experts distributed across Romania, Germany, and India. Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and support database objects, including interfaces and shell scripts. Analyze and contribute to functional specifications. Perform manual and automated testing, including: Unit Testing Regression Testing Performance Testing Functional Testing Analyze and improve data processing workflows. Continuously work on process improvements and product stability. Prepare and maintain technical documentation. Required Skills & Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in PL/SQL development. Strong understanding of XML and JSON. Knowledge of shell scripting on Linux/Unix systems (preferred). Experience with JDA (Blue Yonder software) is an added advantage. Hands-on experience in: Data modelling SQL performance tuning Familiarity with Agile/DevOps methodologies, practices, and tools. Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Self-motivated with a focus on delivering high-quality results. Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset. Ability to challenge conventional approaches and think innovatively. Openness to sharing knowledge and best practices with the team. Good command of spoken and written English. Bachelors degree in Information Technology or equivalent qualification. .
