Role Description Job description: Role Title Senior Infrastructure & Networking Engineer Location Hyderabad, India Experience: 5 - 12 years of experience Working Model Hybrid Role Overview We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure &Networking Engineer to join our team in Hyderabad on a hybrid consultant basis. The ideal candidate combines deep hands-on networking expertise with strong infrastructure and cloud skills, and can design, deploy, and maintain complex IT and OT environments. This is a senior, high-impact role requiring excellent technical depth and outstanding communication skills. 1. Networking Skills Core Networking Proficient in subnetting, VLAN design, and IP addressing schemes Strong understanding of Layer 2 (Ethernet, switching) and Layer 3 (routing) protocols Hands-on experience with network segmentation and DMZ design Ability to design and implement end-to-end Networking Architectures for both IT and OT environments Device Configuration & Deployment Hands-on experience deploying and configuring switches, routers, and network appliances Ability to configure and test network devices from vendors including Cisco, Siemens, Rockwell, and Schneider Cable management, physical layer deployment, and structured cabling Network documentation and as-built drawing preparation Industrial Networking (Added Advantage) Experience with Industrial Ethernet protocols such as EtherCAT, PROFINET, and Modbus TCP 2. Infrastructure Skills Cloud & Infrastructure as Code Hands-on working experience with IaC tools, primarily Terraform and Ansible Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure platforms AWS and/or Azure Ability to design and manage infrastructure environments including VMware, Citrix, and cloud platforms Scripting &Automation Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or equivalent Strong automation skills across both infrastructure and networking components Operating Systems &CI/CD Basic proficiency with Windows Server 2016 / 2019 / 2022 / 2025 Familiarity with CI/CD tools and platforms including Bitbucket, Jenkins, JFrog, and Ansible Experience with monitoring tooling is an advantage Collaboration &Coordination Ability to coordinate with IT teams, define infrastructure templates, and drive implementation Comfortable working across teams to align infrastructure needs with business requirements 3. Good to Have Experience working with PLC / SCADA systems in an infrastructure context Hands-on experience implementing and maintaining asset management and network discovery tools such as Snipe-IT and Lansweeper Strong documentation skills covering design, architecture, and operational runbooks Familiarity with CI/CD toolchain management and general DevOps tooling 4. Professional Skills Strong written and verbal communication skills in English Ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholder groups Comfortable operating in a global, cross-functional, and hybrid environment Strong ownership mindset with high responsiveness and personal accountability Practical, hands-on, and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving Collaborative attitude with a willingness to contribute to continuous improvement Exceptional interpersonal skills and a positive, proactive attitude 5.
