Destinare Services is hiring Senior AI Trainer Editors & Technical Writers This is a fully remote, 2-months contractor assignment with flexible working hours. Position: Senior AI Trainer Editors & Technical Writers Employment Type: Contract (2 weeks) Location: Remote Availability - 8 hours per day with an overlap of 4 hours with PST. Role Overview We are seeking a Senior Technical Writing & Editing Expert for a frontier AI data initiative. Experts will design, evaluate, and refine high-difficulty tasks to improve the reliability and usefulness of frontier AI agents within complex digital-corporate settings (think: documentation platforms, developer portals, style guides, release notes, Slack, E-mail, repository readmes, and cross-functional communications). Experts will leverage deep content governance expertise to build gold-standard tasks that test editorial standards, technical documentation architecture, style guide enforcement, content governance, and the clear explanation of highly complex concepts. Requirements 815 years of hands-on experience in Technical Writing, Editorial Strategy, Content Architecture, or Documentation Engineering. Demonstrated experience owning, creating, or maintaining enterprise style guides (e.g., Microsoft Manual of Style, Google Developer Documentation Style Guide, Chicago Manual of Style) and content governance frameworks. Deep domain expertise in editorial standards, single-sourcing, documentation systems (e.g., Markdown, Docs-as-Code, DITA, Notion, Confluence), and translating highly technical or complex subjects into clear, structured, and accessible content. Proven track record of producing executive-grade documentation deliverables, including style guides, API/technical specifications, architecture overviews, developer guides, content migration plans, and comprehensive editorial reviews. Advanced ability to evaluate technical content for accuracy, voice, tone, structural organization, terminology consistency, and accessibility, while assessing both the final artifact and the underlying editorial rationale. Demonstrated ability to author high-difficulty prompts, complex editing scenarios, and gold-standard evaluation rubrics for AI models is strongly preferred. Responsibilities Author high-difficulty expert tasks and gold-standard solutions covering complex technical documentation, style guide enforcement, content strategy, and structural editing. Review, calibrate, and critique output from team members to enforce rigorous editorial and technical quality standards across the pod's deliverables. Define task context, required reference materials, expected deliverables, and rubrics that distinguish exceptional, acceptable, and deficient work. Verify task feasibility, technical accuracy, and practical realism using provided tools, raw technical inputs, and simulated documentation environments. Identify and escalate edge cases, rubric ambiguities, or domain edge cases directly to the Functional SME Lead. Participate in calibration and revision cycles, incorporating feedback to continuously elevate task complexity and editorial precision. Education & Experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in any field. Experience in AI evaluation, data annotation, content review, quality assurance, or a related analytical role is preferred but not required.
