Location: Chennai (Maduravoyal) Work from Office only Shift Timing: 3:00 PM 12:00 AM Employment Type: Full-time Experience: 8+ years overall, with minimum 1 + year good hands-on AI experience About the Role We're looking for a Technical Lead who combines strong Python engineering skills with practical AI experience. You'll lead a small team of engineers, set technical direction, and stay hands-on with design, coding, and problem-solving. Responsibilities Lead architecture and technical decisions for [product/team name] Design, build, and review Python-based backend systems and services Own the integration of AI components (e.g., LLM APIs, embeddings, RAG pipelines, model fine-tuning, or similar) into production systems Mentor and guide a team of engineers; conduct code reviews Collaborate with product and design to translate requirements into technical solutions Ensure code quality, scalability, and reliability through testing, CI/CD, and best practices Stay current with AI/ML tooling and evaluate new approaches for the product Required Skills 8+ years of overall software development experience Strong proficiency in Python (production-level code, not just scripting) Strong coding and logical/problem-solving skills should be comfortable with data structures, algorithms, and writing clean, efficient, well-structured code Minimum 1+ year of practical AI experience e.g., working with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.), building ML pipelines, NLP, computer vision, or applied ML in production Experience with common frameworks/tools: FastAPI/Django/Flask, Pandas/NumPy, and AI libraries (LangChain, Hugging Face, PyTorch/TensorFlow, or similar) Solid understanding of system design, APIs, and databases (SQL/NoSQL) Prior experience in a lead or senior IC role mentoring, code review, technical decision-making .
