We are looking for Senior Lead Software Engineer- Java who should be passionate about software development and technology, have demonstrable technical and problem-solving skills. The candidate will show a clear understanding of development trends and a broad understanding of development paradigms. They will have excellent organizational skills, good knowledge of the full software development life cycle. About You experience, education, skills, and accomplishments - Bachelors Degree or equivalent in computer science, software engineering, or a related field - At least 7 Years of relevant experience technologies like Java 11+, File I/O, Multi-Threading, Collections, Spring Boot, micro service architecture, AWS cloud. - Good understanding of software development principles, including object-oriented programming, Design Patterns, and SOLID principles. - Strong technical background and in-depth experience with server-side frameworks, event driven architecture, system integration patterns. - Experience with RDBMS and NoSQL databases, particularly MySQL or PostgreSQL - Experience using AWS serverless resources, including but not limited to Lambda, RDS, API Gateway, S3 - Worked on Jira, Jenkins, Maven/Gradle, bitbucket - Experience with continuous integration and continuous development pipelines. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
