## Data DevOps Lead ### Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Data DevOps Lead to bridge the worlds of data engineering and DevOps practices within a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines and infrastructure, while championing automation, CI/CD best practices, and cloud-native solutions. You will lead a team of engineers to ensure the reliability, scalability, and observability of data systems that power critical business decisions. ### Key Responsibilities - Lead the design and implementation of scalable data pipeline infrastructure and DevOps workflows - Architect and manage CI/CD pipelines for data engineering and analytics workloads - Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and platform teams to streamline data delivery processes - Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices to provision and manage cloud resources - Monitor, optimize, and ensure the reliability and performance of data platforms - Establish best practices for data pipeline orchestration, version control, and automated testing - Drive adoption of containerization and orchestration technologies across data workloads - Mentor and guide junior engineers on DevOps and data engineering best practices - Identify and resolve bottlenecks in data infrastructure to improve throughput and reduce latency - Ensure data security, compliance, and governance standards are upheld across all pipelines ### Requirements / Qualifications - Proven experience in a Data DevOps, DataOps, or Data Engineering role with leadership responsibilities - Strong proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform - Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar - Solid understanding of data pipeline orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster - Experience with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes - Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Ansible - Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages - Familiarity with big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Kafka, or Hadoop - Experience with data warehousing solutions such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift - Strong understanding of monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack) - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills - Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments ### About the Company Hackajob is a technology-focused talent platform that connects skilled tech professionals with leading companies, enabling organizations to discover and hire top engineering and technology talent efficiently.
