We are on a mission to help schools capture every child's unique potential, and we are looking for a high-performing sales leader to spearhead our expansion into Mumbais premier private school network. Role Overview As the Sales Manager for Mumbai, you will own the end-to-end B2B sales cycle for our holistic assessment platform. You will be responsible for identifying target private schools, building relationships with trust chairmen, management boards, and principals, and closing high-value institutional contracts. This is a high-growth field sales role requiring a consultative approach, sharp negotiation skills, and an existing network within the Mumbai K-12 education ecosystem. Key Responsibilities Pipeline Generation: Identify, map, and target premium and budget-private schools across Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR). B2B Client Acquisition: Pitch eVriddhis platform directly to School Management, Trustees, Owners, and Principals through impactful, consultative presentations. Product Demonstration: Conduct physical and digital walkthroughs of the platform, demonstrating how it simplifies NEP 2020 compliance and elevates the school's reporting standard. Deal Closure: Navigate complex institutional decision-making cycles, negotiate commercial terms, and close annual/multi-year subscription contracts. Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with onboarded schools to ensure smooth renewal, account retention, and referral generation. Market Intelligence: Track competitor activity, school buying patterns, and feedback to help the product team refine eVriddhis offerings. What We Are Looking For Experience: Minimum 5+ years of proven track record in institutional B2B sales, specifically selling software, digital content, ERPs, or premium learning materials to private K-12 schools. Network: An active, pre-existing network of school management and principals in Mumbai is highly desirable. Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of school procurement cycles, administrative pain points, and current educational shifts (such as NEP 2020 frameworks). Communication: Exceptional English communication and presentation skills. Ability to speak confidently with highly sophisticated academic leaders. Mobility: Willingness to travel extensively across Mumbai, Thane, and Navi Mumbai for school meetings. Mindset: A self-starter who thrives in an entrepreneurial, target-driven startup environment.
