Location: Bengaluru, Pune, Gandhinagar Experience: 812 Years Industry: Aerospace & Defence / Avionics About the Role Qubist Solutions is looking for an experienced Senior System Safety & Reliability Engineer to join our Aerospace & Defence engineering team. The ideal candidate will have robust expertise in system safety assessment, reliability engineering, and certification activities for safety-critical avionics systems. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance with international aerospace safety standards while collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities System Safety Engineering - Lead and perform system safety assessments, including: - Functional Hazard Assessment (FHA) - Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) - Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) - Common Cause Analysis (CCA) - Execute safety analyses in accordance with ARP4761 guidelines. - Define, allocate, and maintain system safety requirements and safety cases in compliance with ARP4754A . - Ensure end-to-end traceability of safety-critical requirements across hardware, software, and system development activities. - Perform safety and reliability modelling using ANSYS Medini Analyze (preferred) or equivalent safety analysis tools. Reliability Engineering - Conduct reliability predictions, analyses, and modelling to evaluate: - System availability - Failure rates - Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) - Support Design-for-Reliability (DfR) initiatives by identifying potential failure mechanisms and recommending design improvements. - Perform quantitative reliability analyses using industry-standard methodologies and tools. - Ensure compliance with aerospace reliability and regulatory requirements. Certification & Compliance - Support certification activities with aviation regulatory authorities such as EASA and FAA . - Prepare and maintain: - Safety Assessment Reports (SAR) - Compliance Matrices - Certification documentation .
