We are looking for a hands-on DevSecOps engineer to support deployment, automation, security, monitoring, and reliability across Jodo World's cloud, SaaS, AI, and real-time communication platforms. The candidate should have strong Linux and Docker fundamentals, practical CI/CD experience, and the ability to use AI tools for scripting, troubleshooting, documentation, testing, and operational automation. 1. Manage Linux-based development, testing, staging, and production environments.2. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Gitea Runner, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar tools.3. Deploy and manage applications using Docker and Docker Compose.4. Automate build, test, deployment, rollback, backup, restore, and environment validation.5. Configure Nginx or Traefik, DNS, SSL/TLS, routing, firewalls, and secure service access.6. Set up monitoring, logging, dashboards, and alerts using Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, or similar tools.7. Support databases, Redis, MinIO, Qdrant, message brokers, and other platform services.8. Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, networking, dependency, and runtime issues.9. Support patching, hardening, secrets management, vulnerability checks, container scanning, and SBOM activities.10. Create runbooks, deployment guides, recovery procedures, and infrastructure documentation.11. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
