Role description Role Overview We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with strong experience in Jenkins CI/CD and GCP/AWS cloud environments. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, automating cloud deployments, and implementing monitoring, logging, and security best practices. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and optimize end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, with robust hands-on experience in Declarative Pipeline syntax. - Automate application deployment, scaling, and infrastructure management across GCP services, including GKE, Cloud Run, Compute Engine, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, VPC, and Cloud Functions. - Integrate application development workflows with CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments in collaboration with development teams. - Implement and manage logging, monitoring, and observability solutions for cloud infrastructure and applications. - Apply cloud security best practices, policies, and compliance requirements across the GCP environment. - Troubleshoot and optimize CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and cloud infrastructure issues. - Document deployment processes, configurations, technical solutions, and architectural decisions. - Stay current with emerging GCP services, DevOps tools, and CI/CD best practices. Mandatory Skills - Solid hands-on experience with GCP or AWS. - Strong hands-on experience with Jenkins. - Expertise in Jenkins Declarative Pipelines. - Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and implementation. - Experience in cloud deployment automation and DevOps practices. Good to Have - Experience with Kubernetes / GKE. - Experience with Docker and containerized applications. - Experience with cloud monitoring, logging, and observability tools. - Knowledge of cloud security and compliance practices. - Scripting experience with Shell/Bash or Python. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully.
