Role Description This part-time hybrid System Administrator role is based in Karnataka, India, with a mix of on-site work and work-from-home flexibility. The System Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining servers, workstations, and network infrastructure to ensure stable and secure operations. Daily tasks include monitoring system performance, applying updates and patches, managing backups and recovery procedures, and responding to technical incidents. The role also involves providing user support, documenting configurations and procedures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement improvements to the IT environment. The System Administrator will follow established security and compliance practices and contribute to continuous optimization of systems and processes. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to assess system performance, diagnose issues, and interpret technical data for effective decision-making.Candidates should possess Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to resolve hardware, software, and network problems in a timely and structured manner.Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to interact with stakeholders, explain technical concepts clearly, and document procedures and incidents.Candidates should possess Information Technology skills, including familiarity with operating systems (such as Windows and Linux), basic networking, and system security practices.Relevant qualifications such as a degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, are beneficial.Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar vendor-specific credentials (e.g., Microsoft, Linux) are an advantage.Ability to work independently, manage priorities in a part-time schedule, and adapt to a hybrid work environment in Karnataka, India.Experience with backup solutions, user account management, and basic cybersecurity best practices is preferred. .
