Role Description The Travel Sales Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Indore, responsible for converting travel inquiries into confirmed bookings and building lasting relationships with travelers. Day-to-day tasks include understanding guest preferences, suggesting suitable itineraries from GICs curated trips, preparing detailed proposals, and managing pricing and package customization. The role involves handling reservations and travel arrangements, coordinating with trip captains and local partners, and ensuring all booking details are accurate and timely. The consultant will respond to customer queries across phone, email, and social channels, provide pre- and post-trip support, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of GIC destinations and experiences. This role also contributes to sales targets, maintains CRM records, and provides feedback to the team to improve itineraries and traveler experience. Qualifications Strong Travel Consulting skills, including understanding traveler needs and recommending suitable itineraries and experiences.Experience in Travel Management and Travel Arrangements, including coordinating logistics, itineraries, and vendor communication.Proficiency in Customer Service and Reservations, with the ability to handle inquiries, bookings, changes, and cancellations efficiently.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse travelers and work effectively in a small team.Comfort using CRM tools, booking platforms, and basic office software; ability to manage multiple inquiries and tasks in parallel.Prior experience in travel sales, tourism, or hospitality is highly beneficial; knowledge of Indian destinations and offbeat travel is a plus.Ability to work on-site in Indore, including occasional extended hours around peak travel seasons or trip departures.Relevant diploma or degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory with strong experience. .
