Demand Planning Consultant / Principal IBP Consultant (contract)

Role Description The Demand Planning Consultant / Principal IBP Consultant will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing integrated business planning (IBP) and demand planning processes for client organizations. This contract role involves conducting data-driven analyses, forecasting demand, aligning supply and inventory plans, and recommending improvements to planning workflows and systems. The consultant will collaborate closely with client stakeholders to understand business requirements, facilitate workshops, and translate insights into actionable planning strategies. Day-to-day activities include preparing reports and dashboards, reviewing financial and operational scenarios, and providing guidance on best practices in demand, supply, and financial planning. This is a remote role, requiring effective virtual collaboration and independent execution of project tasks. Qualifications Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting data to support demand planning and IBP decisions.Expertise in planning and financial planning processes, including forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis.Excellent communication and consulting skills to engage stakeholders, lead workshops, and present recommendations clearly.Experience with demand planning or IBP tools and methodologies; familiarity with ERP or supply chain systems is an advantage.Proven track record in remote, client-facing project work, with strong organizational and time-management abilities.Bachelors or Masters degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.Relevant certifications in supply chain, planning, or consulting (e.g., APICS, IBP-related certifications) are beneficial. .
