What will you do at Fynd Build scalable, loosely coupled services for our Transportation Management System. Develop reliable APIs and integrations with logistics partners, payment providers, mapping platforms, and internal services. Build event-driven workflows for shipments, trips, riders, routing, and delivery operations. Develop responsive web applications used by operations teams and business users. Improve application performance, observability, fault tolerance, and overall availability. Own features from design and development through testing, deployment, and production support. Operate large-scale applications on GCP and contribute to continuous improvements in our engineering practices. Work closely with product and operations teams as requirements and workflows evolve. Some specific requirements Prior experience developing and maintaining consumer-facing or operations-focused web applications. Hands-on experience with Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, Express.js, and REST API integrations. Good knowledge of asynchronous programming using callbacks, Promises, and async/await. Experience building frontend applications using React, HTML, CSS, and modern browser APIs. Working knowledge of PostgreSQL, SQL, database design, indexing, and complex data models. Understanding of API security, error handling, third-party integrations, and production troubleshooting. Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and networking fundamentals. Experience writing automated tests and supporting applications across development, testing, and production. You may not have experience with every tool in our stack, but you should be able to learn with appropriate guidance and resources. Good to have Experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven systems. Working knowledge of MongoDB and Redis. Familiarity with Vite, Webpack, Jest, Vitest, or Playwright. Understanding of distributed systems, caching, retries, and idempotency. Experience with GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, and observability tools. Knowledge of TMS, shipments, trips, routing, mapping, or last-mile delivery systems.
