Test Automation Consultant

Job Description We are looking for a Test Automation Consultant with 3+ years of experience who brings a strong automation-first mindset and solid engineering fundamentals. This role requires hands-on test automation, the ability to think like a developer, and a deep understanding of end-to-end product quality. Exposure to Salesforce-based applications is beneficial but not mandatory. Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web and enterprise applications. - Write clean, reusable, and maintainable automated test code. - Automate functional, regression, smoke, and integration test suites. - Perform API and service-level testing for distributed systems and third-party integrations. - Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and technical design discussions. - Collaborate closely with developers on defect analysis, root cause identification, and fixes. - Embed automated tests and quality gates into CI/CD pipelines. - Continuously improve test coverage, reliability, and overall QA processes. Requirements: - More than 3 years of hands-on experience in test automation roles. - Strong experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, AccelQ, Provar, or similar. - Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, JavaScript, or Python). - Experience with test frameworks (TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, Jest, etc. ). - Solid understanding of REST APIs and API testing tools. - Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and Agile practices. - Experience with Git-based version control systems. - Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Good to Have: - Exposure to Salesforce application testing (Lightning, workflows, flows, or cloud modules). - Salesforce certifications. - Basic knowledge of SOQL / Apex. - CI/CD experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps. - Experience testing SaaS, cloud-based, or enterprise-scale applications.
