About the Company The Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II Museum Trust is situated within the City Palace, Jaipur. The Trust plays a key role in preserving the artistic, historical, and cultural traditions of Jaipur while facilitating public access, education, and appreciation of the rich legacy of the region. With a multidisciplinary team working across collections, outreach, conservation, education, and events, the Trusts vision is to be the globally recognised creative and cultural heart of Jaipur. About the Role The Assistant Manager will work closely with the Lead Technology on the ongoing digital transition of the Museum Trust. The role involves supporting and enhancing existing digital infrastructure and systems, managing day-to-day IT operations, and assisting with new digital initiatives undertaken by the institution. The position requires a hands-on approach, coordination with internal teams and external vendors, and the ability to support non-technical users in a public-facing cultural environment. Responsibilities Systems & Platform SupportAssist in day-to-day management of digital platforms including ticketing systems and access control hardware, website backend and CMS coordination (non-developmental).Support basic data exports, reports, and reconciliations from ticketing and visitor systems.Dashboard management - RazorPay, DLT Platforms, InfoBip portal and other telecom integrations, QR Tiger etc.Managing institutional accounts on Google Workspace for Non-Profits, Google Ad Grants, BigTech Nasscomm Foundation.Digital signage and display systems.In addition to managing existing digital infrastructure, the candidate will be expected to assist Lead, Tech in identifying and acquiring more digital solutions specific to the needs and requirements of the institution.Network Implementation and ManagementAssist in the implementation of active and passive networking infrastructure, and be able to manage networking dashboards.Basic network administration - managing hardware (routers, switches, firewalls), monitoring network health, troubleshooting connectivity issues, managing user access, and implementing security protocols to prevent cyber threats.IT Operations & Technical SupportProvide first-line technical support for staff systems including desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, Wi-Fi, and basic software issues.Assist in maintenance and troubleshooting of network infrastructure, access points, CCTV systems, biometric devices, and AV equipment.Coordinate routine system checks, updates, backups, and basic cybersecurity hygiene (password policies, antivirus, access controls).Maintain the IT Inventory (Hardware and Software), support installation, configuration, and replacement of hardware and software as required.Vendor & AMC CoordinationAct as a point of contact for IT vendors, service providers, and AMC partners.Log service requests, track timelines, and follow up on issue resolution.Coordinate site visits, installations, and maintenance schedules.Maintain vendor documentation, contracts, warranties, and service records.Documentation & AdministrationMaintain updated records of IT assets and inventory, network diagrams and system documentation, SOPs for common IT processes.Assist in preparing basic reports, dashboards, and summaries for internal review. Qualifications Bachelors degree or diploma in IT, Computer Applications, Information Systems, or a related field. Familiarity with museums, cultural institutions, public-facing venues, or heritage sites. An understanding of cultural institutions/non-profit-specific technical requirements. 23 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or technical operations, ticketing systems, access control, CCTV systems. Working knowledge of Windows and macOS environments, Networking basics (routers, switches, Wi-Fi), Hardware troubleshooting. Strong organisational and documentation skills. Ability to communicate clearly with non-technical staff.
