Experience level: 18+ Years We are seeking a highly skilled Product Development Manager who represents Agile Leadership principles and practices. drive product development excellence, and enable teams to adopt modern engineering practices, including AI-enabled ways of working. Lead, mentor, and develop cross-functional engineering teams in delivering high-quality software products. Implement and optimize development processes to improve efficiency and product quality. Drive adoption of AI-assisted software development practices, including responsible use of AI tools for coding, testing, documentation, analysis, and productivity improvement. Ensure AI usage follows company policies, security, compliance, data privacy, and ethical guidelines. Manage the entire product lifecycle, from conception to deployment and maintenance. Evaluate performance, including team and manager input; Participate in defining and administering compensation, benefits, and promotions. Perform career coaching and personal development for team members, managers, and future leaders. Set priorities across teams to ensure task completion, alignment, and project success. Manage full financial responsibility for own profit unit. Act as a role model for company values, Lean-Agile Leadership, technical excellence, and continuous learning. Handle products in the maintenance phase, including managing client escalations, critical issues/tickets, and urgent fixes. Establish and follow Agile ways of working, ensuring continuous improvement of development processes Strong technical background with past hands-on coding experience. Proven track record of delivering complex software projects on time and within budget. Strong communication skills, both technical and non-technical. Experience in stakeholder management and client-facing roles. Proven experience in managing managers, team leads, or multiple engineering teams. Good understanding of AI/GenAI trends, tools, and their practical application in software development and product engineering. Ability to drive responsible AI adoption while considering quality, security, compliance, and business impact. Extensive experience with full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. Proficiency in Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe, with experience leading Agile teams at scale. Strong knowledge of modern software development practices, including CI/CD, DevOps, and cloud technologies. Past hands-on experience with one or more programming languages, for example .NET, C#, Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript. Experience with database technologies, including SQL and NoSQL. Understanding of software testing methodologies and quality assurance processes. Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering tools and practices, such as AI coding assistants, automated test generation, code review support, documentation generation, and AI-enabled productivity improvements. Understanding of data security, privacy, compliance, and governance considerations related to AI usage in software development.
