Job Description: We are hiring a Product Development Head (Vehicle Design & Engineering) in Ahmedabad. Department: Product Development Reporting To: Managing Director / CEO Industry: Automobile (Only) Location: Ahmedabad Key Responsibilities * Lead complete vehicle design & engineering development lifecycle * Lead Electric Two-Wheeler (EV 2W) product development from concept to mass production * Drive EV vehicle architecture, battery integration & powertrain packaging * Oversee mechanical design of vehicles (Compulsory) * Drive product development from concept, prototype, testing to mass production * Ensure product validation, regulatory compliance & EV performance standards * Achieve targeted cost, quality & timeline objectives * Coordinate with cross-functional teams: R&D;, Purchase, Production, Quality * Implement design improvements for performance, safety & cost efficiency * Manage vendor development and technical collaborations (EV components preferred) * Lead and mentor the engineering team * Present technical updates directly to MD / CEO Mandatory Requirements * Strong background in Mechanical Vehicle Design * Experience strictly from Automobile Industry (EV experience preferred) * Proven experience in Electric Two-Wheeler development projects * Hands-on exposure to product validation & testing * Strong knowledge of manufacturing feasibility & cost control * Leadership experience in managing engineering teams Preferred Skills * Expertise in CAD/CAE tools * Knowledge of automotive & EV regulations / compliance * Experience in handling new product launches * Robust analytical & problem-solving skills .
