Procurement Manager, VDO Project (Bhubaneswar)

As a Procurement Manager, VDO Project at HAECO Group, your role involves leading and managing procurement functions for operations in Southeast Asia. You will report to the General Manager, Strategy Planning & OEM. Your responsibilities include:- Ensuring proper corporate governance throughout procurement activities in a fair, open, and impartial manner, including policy and procedures compliance, and providing continuous input for improvement.- Leading procurement-related requests and contract development with a focus on achieving KPI targets such as shortening sourcing lead time and cost savings.- Identifying opportunities for executing procurement strategies and monitoring suppliers performance effectively.- Mitigating safety and sustainability risks of outsourcing, implementing good procurement practices and controls.- Leading projects or acting as a contract manager for purchase recommendations with longer-term and higher financial impact.- Conducting strategic analysis on data for developing cost-saving opportunities and proper risk management.- Actively engaging in staff initiatives and people management, conducting cost-saving studies, and making recommendations on group contract development.Qualifications and Experience Required:- Minimum of 7 years of solid procurement experience.- Product and market knowledge in related purchasing categories is an advantage.- Recognized degree in any discipline, with a preference for procurement/business/management-related fields.- Professional qualification in procurement and supply is required.- Excellent command of English and Chinese, both spoken and written.Build your career with HAECO Group and be part of a global provider of high-quality MRO services.
