Manager - Services Procurement - 9+ years- Gurgaon Location Gurugram Your Future Employer Our Client is a renewable energy provider, founded in 2014, is one of Indias leading independent power producers, specializing in roundtheclock clean energy solutions for businesses and utilities. It combines solar, wind, and battery storage technologies to help industrial and commercial clients transition seamlessly to green power. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end sourcing, contracting, and administration of construction and service packages for utility-scale Solar, Wind, BESS, and power evacuation projects, from RFP receipt through work-order closure. Develop package-wise sourcing strategies and cost benchmarks for Civil, Mechanical, Electrical BOP, Transmission Lines, Substations, SCADA, and site service works, leveraging market intelligence and historical project data. Manage the complete tendering and techno-commercial evaluation process, including RFQs, vendor interactions, pre-bid clarifications, site visits, comparative statements, negotiations, and vendor recommendations. Drive contracting and commercial governance, including NFA/DOA approvals, work orders, contract agreements, milestones, SLAs, payment terms, LDs, ABG/PBG, amendments, change orders, claims, and dispute resolution. Build and manage a robust contractor and vendor ecosystem through capability assessment, empanelment, compliance verification, safety onboarding, performance evaluation, and vendor ranking. Partner with project and site teams to monitor package progress, mobilisation, quality, safety, billing, and payments, ensuring milestone payments are aligned with measured work completion and contractual terms. Ensure strong statutory, QHSE, commercial, and compliance governance, covering PF, ESI, CLRA, BOCW, safety requirements, quality standards, contractual risks, and timely resolution of site-level issues. Drive MIS, digitalisation, audit readiness, and cross-functional coordination across Project Management, Engineering, Construction, Quality, OH&S, Finance, Legal, Inventory, and Power Evacuation teams to achieve cost savings, timely awards, compliance, and successful project delivery. Requirements Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering is mandatory. Experience: 9+ years for Manager and 12+ years for Senior Manager in procurement and contract management, preferably within Renewable Energy (Solar, Wind, BESS) or Power Transmission & Distribution. Strong hands-on experience in contracting and procurement of Civil, Electrical BOP, Transmission Line, Substation, and power evacuation packages, including STU/ISTS projects. Expertise in vendor development, techno-commercial evaluation and negotiation, contract drafting, cost control, compliance management, claims, and contract closure. What is in it for you .
