Strengthening Civil Society for a Just Transition in India: Grassroots Knowledge, Think Tanks and the States The project, Strengthening Civil Society for a Just Transition in India: Grassroots Knowledge, Think Tanks and the States, aims to strengthen inclusive and people-centric energy transition processes in India. Vasudha Foundation is leading activities focused on: Organising regional and state-level dialogues between grassroots organisations, think tanks, and other stakeholders to strengthen discourse on just transition and climate action. Conducting research, surveys, and stakeholder interviews to capture on-ground perspectives on energy transition and translate them into policy-relevant insights and communication outputs such as policy briefs, blogs, and reports. Roles & Responsibilities The look out for interns is for the second part of this project. This involves supporting research and stakeholder engagement activities related to people-centric energy transition and just transition discourse in India. Including: Assist in conducting stakeholder interviews, surveys, and documentation of insights from grassroots organisations, communities, and other actors. Assist in compiling and analysing findings from interviews, surveys, and secondary research to support project outputs and communication materials. Contribute to the development of knowledge and communication products such as briefs, presentations, blogs, and summaries. Desired Skills & Background Interest in energy transition, sustainability, or related fields. Good research, writing, and communication skills. Comfortable speaking with stakeholders and documenting insights from interviews. Prior exposure to fieldwork, stakeholder engagement, or surveys is a plus. Basic MS Office/Google Workspace skills for documentation and organising interview insights .
