Company Website: www.akgroup.co.in Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical AVP Credit (Financial Institutional Lending) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in underwriting corporate clients within the financial sector, preferably with exposure to NBFC operations. Key Responsibilities: - Perform end-to-end credit underwriting for Financial Institutional and mid market corporate clients, primarily in the financial sector. - Conduct detailed analysis of financial statements, assess creditworthiness, and identify key business and financial risks. - Structure and recommend credit facilities in line with internal policies and risk appetite. - Collaborate with business teams to understand client requirements and ensure appropriate credit structuring. - Prepare and present comprehensive credit appraisal notes for approval committees. - Continuously monitor portfolio performance and highlight early warning signals and credit deterioration. - Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, internal credit policies, and documentation standards. - Leverage experience in accounting audits to assess financial integrity and detect potential red flags. - Apply forensic audit insights where relevant to identify misrepresentations or financial irregularities. Qualifications & Experience: - Chartered Accountant (CA) and/or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) preferred. - 5-7 years of experience in wholesale credit underwriting, with a focus on financial sector clients. - Prior experience in accounting audits of corporates; forensic audit exposure is an added advantage. - Strong understanding of financial analysis, risk assessment methodologies, and credit structuring. - Strong Excel Skills - Decent Communication and Interpersonal skills - Working knowledge of RBI guidelines, regulatory frameworks, and industry best practices. .
