Remote Senior Accounts Payable Lead

They are seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Payable Lead to support high-volume payables operations, overseeing invoice processing and payment activities while ensuring accuracy and timeliness across the function.ResponsibilitiesOversee daily accounts payable activities to ensure invoices are reviewed, coded, and processed accurately within established timelinesLead the preparation and execution of check runs and electronic payments, including ACH transactions, while maintaining proper documentation and controlsReview invoice coding for completeness and alignment with company policies, resolving discrepancies with internal stakeholders as neededMonitor payment schedules and vendor balances to help ensure obligations are met on time and account records remain accurateSupport process consistency across the AP function by identifying issues, escalating exceptions, and helping improve workflow efficiencyMaintain organized financial records and payment support files to assist with audits, reporting, and month-end close activitiesPartner with accounting and business teams to address invoice questions, payment inquiries, and outstanding items in a timely mannerProven experience in accounts payable, including responsibility for high-volume invoice processing and payment executionBackground in a lead or supervisory AP capacity with the ability to guide daily priorities and maintain operational accuracyHands-on experience coding invoices and reviewing supporting documentation for completeness and correctnessPractical knowledge of check runs and ACH payment processing within a controlled financial environmentExperience using Sage Intacct for accounts payable or related accounting functionsStrong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectivelyClear communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with vendors and internal departmentsSkillsProven experience in accounts payable, including responsibility for high-volume invoice processing and payment executionBackground in a lead or supervisory AP capacity with the ability to guide daily priorities and maintain operational accuracyHands-on experience coding invoices and reviewing supporting documentation for completeness and correctnessPractical knowledge of check runs and ACH payment processing within a controlled financial environmentExperience using Sage Intacct for accounts payable or related accounting functionsStrong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectivelyClear communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with vendors and internal departmentsBenefitsBenefits are available to contract/temporary professionals, including medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.Hired contract/temporary professionals are also eligible to enroll in our company 401(k) plan.Company OverviewRobert Half provides staffing, recruiting, finance, and accounting services.
