ob Location: SRM - Mathur, Trichy, Tamil Nadu Industry: Civil & Construction Large-Scale Project Experience: 4 to 6 Years Employment Type: Full-Time Relocation: Mandatory & Accommodation: Provided Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day purchase activities for the construction project.Source and procure civil, construction, electrical, plumbing, hardware and general project materials.Identify and develop reliable suppliers and vendors.Obtain and compare quotations to ensure competitive pricing.Negotiate rates, payment terms, delivery schedules and other commercial terms with vendors.Coordinate with the Project, Stores, Engineering, Accounts and Site teams to understand material requirements.Prepare Purchase Orders and ensure proper documentation.Follow up with vendors for timely delivery of materials to the project site.Monitor pending purchase orders and ensure there are no delays affecting project activities.Verify material specifications, quantity and quality requirements before finalizing purchases.Maintain vendor records, quotation comparisons, purchase orders and procurement reports.Support cost control and identify opportunities for procurement savings.Handle vendor issues, delivery delays and material discrepancies effectively.Ensure procurement activities are carried out as per company procedures and project requirements.Candidate Profile Any Graduate / Diploma in Civil, Construction, Supply Chain, Procurement or related field.58 years of relevant purchase/procurement experience, preferably in Civil & Construction Projects.Strong knowledge of construction materials and local vendor markets.Experience in handling procurement for large-scale projects will be an advantage.Good negotiation and vendor management skills.Good communication and coordination skills.Strong follow-up skills with attention to cost, quality and delivery timelines.Good knowledge of MS Excel and purchase documentation.Candidates currently working in construction/project procurement are preferred.Willingness to relocate and work in Mathur, Trichy is mandatory.Compensation: 20,000.00 - 30,000.00 per month Benefits: Food providedProvident FundWork Location: In person .
